Its been a week since my last confession...

Relocation is at a stand-still. I'm waiting on my UK work permit. There's a lot of little things I'm trying to do/take care of, but not a whole lot has changed since last week. My last day at work will be the 18th and I'm leaving town on the 21st. Right now, United and Travelzoo have posted a special - $299 round-trip air and 4 nights in London, so anyone who wants to visit... I guess I should wait until I have my plane ticket before I start recruiting visitors.

Day-to-day, I don't really think about how quickly everything is happening, until I look at a calendar and then I start to worry. There's a lot happening in the next couple of weeks.

The move out of the old place was hard, both physically and emotionally. I hung out with Krissie on Sunday and it was weird to ring the doorbell of "my home." Sunday was nice. We went to the mall, the bookstore and the video store. We rented "Love Actually" and "Calendar Girls." We ordered pizza and watched movies with Annie & Hannah. Funny that both movies are set in the UK - I didn't even choose them!

Yesterday was Krissie's birthday. Annie, Ashley, Hannah and I surprised her with cake and presents. It was fun. Annie and I wrote "stealthy" emails all day, plotting and planning. We all went to RiRa for trivia and hung out with Jennifer, Kevin and Erik. The big celebration is planned for Saturday. Krissie and I are heading to Atlanta to meet up with Annie and many, many others for a Dexter Freebish show. The fuzzy tiaras are coming out and I have a feeling it'll be a pretty crazy trip. Hooray for Birthday Road Trips!!!
